Mary Ann's Biography and Resume
Mary Ann Casavant lives and works in New York City. In 2000, she left her hometown of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, to attend Amherst College. Her senior year, she produced two documentaries as an honors thesis and served as the teaching assistant for production classes. After graduation, she was selected as the 2004 Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Documentary Intern. Since moving to New York in 2004, she has held a variety of production jobs. Most recently, she was the Coordinating Producer of the second season of the Emmy Nominated series This American Life. Strange Duck films is a collection of short films and movie reviews she produced from 2006 - 2007.
